Your in-house IT partner, on-demand.

I help businesses and organisations in Herefordshire to keep their Macs, PCs, servers and networks stable, consistent and secure – with the same tools big companies use, scaled to fit your team.

Who am I

I’m Matthew Burton. With 20+ years in IT, and experience serving large corporates to local businesses and organisations, I know the tools MSPs use and how to apply them where they really make a difference.

Local, independent, people-first

I’m not tied to reselling or locked into a single solution — which means we choose the right tools for your business, not mine. I can work alongside your team to deliver projects, or step into more of a leadership role when needed.

IT should give you control, clarity and efficiency – not take it away.

Who I work with

Growing small to mid-sized businesses, charities, schools and creative teams in Herefordshire – any organisation that doesn’t need a full-time IT manager but needs IT effiency.

My role is to help you implement solutions holistically – considering people, processes, with an eye on the bigger picture throughout. That means when new technology is adopted, it’s done with care and strategy, and not as a reaction.

You get a partner with a vested interest in your success, who helps make sure the tools you choose actually work for your business.

A trusted in-house partner when adopting new solutions. If your current MSP isn’t working out, I can bring support back in-house or help make a clean switch without fear of operational risk or downtime.

What I do

I bring enterprise-level IT solutions, set up in a way that makes better sense for smaller teams – affordable and easy to use.

I start with an audit – looking at your current IT setup and where efficiencies can be made. From there, I help put the right platforms in place for:

      • Asset and equipment management

      • Device and network monitoring

      • Zero-touch setup and simple onboarding processes

      • Deployment and update solutions across Mac and PC

      • Core IT and communications: email, web, workflows, and team tools

The goal is consistent setup across all devices, secure by default updates and compliance, and systems that feel efficient and easy to use. It’s a strategic, not reactive approach – giving you visibility and control, while reducing the surprises and headaches that usually come with IT.

New people onboarded without confusing setups so they can hit the ground running. Workflows become tools you enjoy using, are proud of, and are reflective of the values of your business.

What this means for you

New starters get up and running without confusion, staff use devices that stay consistent and reliable, and you have clear visibility of your systems – no hidden risks or surprises. Failovers and workarounds are built in, which means fewer urgent support calls and less disruption.

Most importantly, you regain a sense of control and strategy – knowing your IT is working for your business, not against it.

  • New starters log in and get working straight away
  • Clear visibility over every device
  • Failovers and workarounds in place, so true emergencies become rare
  • Confidence that your IT is secure and under control

No tie in

IT can drift out of control – providers change direction and things stop moving forward. The result is that businesses often end up paying more and getting less support and expertise they enjoyed at the beginning.

Sound familiar? My approach is different. I focus on clarity, transparency, and steady progress. That means keeping the big picture in view, talking honestly about what’s working (and what isn’t), and making sure your systems evolve in a way that supports your people and your goals.

My goal is that your systems improve, your team feels more in control, and you rely on me less and less.

The human IT

IT and HR should work together so people and systems thrive. Technology, and currently AI, always moves fast, but rushed change creates stress. My role is to keep IT considered and human-centred, so people feel included and confident.

Onboarding can be simple and welcoming, with clear self-setup workflows. Security and privacy should be transparent, so staff understand what’s protected and why.

Rollercoasters are great, but a technology ride should bring clarity, efficiency and calm – giving businesses, and their people confidence and trust.

No jargon. No nonsense.

Can I can help your business keep IT clear, consistent and human?
